Anam Prem

Anam Prem celebrates this day – ‘The World Ocean Day’ on 8th June every year. All the citizens living near the shore from Kutch, Cochin to Kolkata – and further up to Mizoram will come near the sea on Monday, June 8th and lie prostrate before the Ocean waves and offer their respect and love to the ocean. They will also have the sea water sprinkled on the face. The sea is a treasure trove for us for example, it gives ocean medicine, food, etc. So we give our salutations to it on this day.
