Anam Prem

1st May is the International Labour Day. But Anam Prem people want to be internal and intensive. Let us be genuinely Indians. Let us look for our brothers and sisters from the interiors of our country especially the children who seldom get a chance to move out of their vicinity. Therefore every year we invite less privileged school children from interior/tribal areas of India. This, we hope, will give to the children a sense of belonging to the country in their formative years. Every year we invite school children and their teachers from Adivasi or tribal schools either from within or outside Maharashtra. They are tribal/adivasi children.  They have not seen the Indian Ocean. Sagar Safar is arranged on 1st May, probably  because there is a summer vacation for these children and in rainy season, after summer, the ocean cannot be felt and experienced.
