Saad Pratisaad

Programme for the mentally challenged

It is one thing to express pity on the mentally retarded child in another house or to visit any school for mentally retarded children, and it is yet another thing to actively bestow love on the mentally retarded children.  Anam Prem, in its endeavour to sprinkle love upon the Mentally retarded children, initially started the project in the year 2009 by name “Sumati Dham”.  The said project is now turned into huge concept of “Sumati Gram”.   It is like metamorphosis of caterpillar into butterfly.  Idea behind Sumati Gram is not merely to build a school for mentally retarded children, but to build a whole complete self-reliant village of mentally retarded children.  Being motivated with ideals of Anam Prem and Fundamental duties under Article 51-A of the Constitution of India, Anam Prem and Human Right Protection Forum jointly undertook this project.  Sumati Gram project is the Company incorporated under Section 25 of the Companies Act registered with Ministry of Corporate affairs, having credit rating of SE-3B and ISO 9001:2008 certificate.  The project has started functioning in its 14 acre land and 300 sq.ft. construction.  To demonstrate to the people at large, the creative capacity of these mentally retarded children, Saad Pratisaad programme at National Level is organised.  Upto the year 2016, there have been so far seven such National Level Meets of Mentally retarded children.  The full fun fledged Saad Pratisaad programme is spread over three days wherein more than 500 mentally retarded children from different states of our India come together and participate.
